World Highest OCR
They competed the first ever ultimate OCR challenge on Kilimanjaro in September 2021. A fantastic company who's aim is to reach the ultimate OCR challenge around the world
Guinness World Record
43 athletes from 26 different countries achieved a x2 Guinness World Record. World Highest Fitness Class and World Highest Obstacle Course. Our Instructor Zee completed this challenge and is the first Muslim in the United Kingdom to achieve these awards.
X2 World Record & Summited Kilimanjaro
Our Instructor Zee has completed the free-standing mountain in the world called Kilimanjaro at 5,895m. She achieved x2 World Record Titles for World Highest Fitness Class and World Highest Obstacle Course. She is the first Muslim Woman in the United Kingdom to complete the challenge.
Fishwick Rangers Club
As part of the UCLAN University Centre we conducted a 6 week course in the Preston area. We had overwhelming response and was a great success. They are community youth club offering different sessions in the local community.
1V Awards
Our instructor Zee was nominated as women of the year through 1V awards 2021. She has offered 17 years volunteering In the community and the first Civilian Krag Maga instructor in the north west. She has incredible teaching skills and her passion for volunteering is highly remarkable.
Women’s Voice
This organisation is very close to our heart’s and we have delivered many session’s. They give a women a platform to talk and share their opinions on all different topics. Anjum is leading this project who is also a mentor in supporting the most vulnerable women and transforming their lives through a positive approach.
PWR BOX
Atif is a semi-pro boxer who has recently opened a new boxing gym in Blackburn. He has shown great skill in teaching the community boxing and welcomes all abilities. We have delivered a 6 week self-defence course and feel good to be the first to use his brand new gym.
Community CVS
We have worked with Community Cv’s and provided a lot of support since 2019. There aim is to improve and promote the consistency and quality of services working with volunteers across BwD. They have helped us transform our dream into reality and helped us succeed.
BAME Project
We have delivered a 6 week course at Bury Defence Academy which has been a great success. They aim to offer free sessions for vulnerable women to learn self defence to become strong and confident individuals
B.A.M.E Awards
Our Instructor Zee was invited as a judge and guest speaker for this award night. She talked about her experience in volunteering within the community, passion of martial arts and x2 world record challenge on top of Kilimanjaro.
Walk For Life Brook House
We teamed up with walk for Life Brook House who lead regular walks for adults and young people around Blackburn. Walking is very important and the aim if the group is to not use their mobile phones and interact with others. A chance to talk to different people about their life experiences
UCLAN University
Self Defence Research Study - The university have been interested to research how self defence has potential health benefits. They wish to measure health & wellbeing, basic strength measures and much more. This has been a great success and looking forward to the final report.
Guide Dogs
We have donated funds to Guide Dogs Uk who train dogs to help the blind people. It cost 56k to train a dog from being a puppy till they get released to their owner. Lets help the people in need and get rewarded for helping the people in need
Dementia Friend
We have conducted training with the Alzheimer’s Society and become a Dementia Friend. Their aims to transform the way the nation thinks, acts and talks about the condition. Dementia Friends is about learning more about dementia and the small ways you can help
Community Clothing Blackburn
We got scouted from Instagram to conduct a shoot for a clothing brand called community clothing. They are a social enterprise with a simple mission; to make excellent quality affordable clothes for men and women, to create great jobs for skilled workers and by doing this helps to restore real pride in Britain’s Textile communities.
Bolton Muslim Girls School
We were approached by a teacher to deliver 2 session per week for young teenagers. The girls were delighted to have a female instructor and were very disciplined. They have received fantastic reports as a school and feel privileged ‘to have worked with them.
Digital Champion
We have completed the online learning with Age UK to become a digital champion. Age UK help people with their digital and offers 1-1 and group sessions. We have been awarded upon completion of the digital course.
Volunteer Award
When you achieve an award for getting recognised for the good work you are doing in the community. I have volunteered from a very young age and I strongly believe in giving back to the community. I have worked within the banking industry for the past 8 years and have ample of knowledge on savings, mortgages, pensions and financial advice (long term investments).
Mentor
We have completed a mentoring course from an organisation called Connect who provide different services to the public. They offer regular walks, mentoring programme and public services.

Give an Hour campaign
We have worked with Give an Hour Campaign and visited different schools to give presentations on the services Zs Defence Academy offers and how/why we started the project. The visit at Tauheedul High School was very popular and the organisation has published this article nationally. Read the story below
HWRK - Magazine for teacher
We were contacted by Hwrk teachers magazine to advertise the services we offer in the whole of North West. Have a look at page 21 which shows our add and read many other interesting organisations.
Civilian Instructor
Zee has wanted to gain a qualification as a Civilian instructor and she has conducted a couple days of intense training to develop her skills further. The military style training took place in Northampton with many other instructors from all different types of sports and she successfully qualified
KDB Deals
We offer a variety of products at limited prices in our warehouse at extremely discounted prices. Jane also runs a charity to support the local community.
Outta Skool
This is a community based Social Enterprise and we specialise in school activities. The organisation was set up in 2005 by like minded colleagues with over 30 years of experience.
UCLAN University
We are collaborating with UCLAN University to conduct research on how Self Defence Supports your Health & Well being.
Mayor of Oldham
Great to meet the Mayor of Oldham called Cllr Jennifer Harrison and her assistance called Shaid Mushtaq. We were celebrating success and Tibo is the world champion in Kickboxing who showed off his medals.
Mayor or Blackburn
We were invited to the 1v Awards ceremony by One voice and was presented with our certification by the Mayor of Blackburn called Cllr Derek Hardman.
Councillor of Bury
A great opportunity to meet Cllr Shaheena Haroon in Bury through the BAME Project. She is the first Muslim female in Bury to become a councilor and won women of the year award in 2010.
Online Community TV
We have started vlogging for an online community TV called UCTV talking about the benefits of health and fitness. They are a none for profit organisation who offer a platform for organisations/projects to discuss their ideas to the wider world through social media.
